I would definitely say that atheists have more values than Christians, but i would hate to add the term "Christian" to the idea of "values". Since Moses chose to command his troops to hack to death little innocent Midianite babies and children in Numbers 31, and then got to appear in the Transfiguration Cloud with Jesus in Matt. 17, I personally have always considered Christianity a morally bankrupt religion. The 300,000 deaths of females in the times of the inquisition - all murdered by Christians lends credence to my opinion. So does the slaughter of 40,000 Jews by the Christian Crusaders.

All in all, I'll stick to atheism. It is morally superios to Christianity. Just think, we don't need some cult leader dangling the "eternal life" carrot in front of our noses to make us walk a righteous path. We do that because it is the right thing to do, and we need nor expect a reward.

According to 1 John 3, born again Christians are incapable of committing a sin. I have yet to see one. I think the New Testament if full of lies and that Jesus was a cult leader.

Well, there are my thoughts on your question. Merry Christmas!

I am mostly offended NOT by the question(s) but by some of the language that I believe should not be used in the presence of the young people that are a part of this audience. I am NEVER offended by another's true beliefs. I believe that this format of question and answer is good for everyone concerned. If I am unable to answer a question, I normally come back to it to see what kind of answers are given by others. I imagine that you are right about one thing... There are a number of those believing in GOD who want everything to be asked so that they have an answer that is simple to give and not any thinking done on it. Have a great evening and a wonderful holiday season!

What do you mean by "allowed" to post questions like that?
Since when does anyone control what someone is allowed to ask?
If you must disallow questions, then you're standing on shaky ground, and someone really should ask the hard questions!

The major difference between those with religous beliefs, and those without, is simply that our common sense tells us that something created all this, but unlike the ignorant brain washed masses, we make no claim to know what it is.
Religion was created to control the masses and their money. It's the most successful business in the world...witness the Vatican and its multi billions. For a price they'll let you buy your way into a certain level of heaven...it's absurd that idiots still buy into that crap and actually pay for it.
Whatever created all of this gave me a wonderful bull **** filter...it's called my brain! I use it.

You lost me there. What EXACTLY are the Atheists beliefs? I've been asking that for a long time and never get an answer. How can an Atheist be offended that I care enough about them to offer the truth in an attempt, however feeble it may be, to save their souls? It was my understanding that an Atheist doesn't believe in anything. How can I offend you? Why are you here in religion and spirituality? As an Atheist what do you have to offer to the religious and spiritual community? What are you trying to convert me to? Right now I have faith and hope. What are you offering me?

Simple... atheists are the only ones whose beliefs are based on logic, therefore the only ones that can intelligently and honestly answer questions. It's easy to prove christians wrong, especially since so many of them insist on a literal interpretation, so of course they get angry. No mystery there.

One incidence of this does not mean that every person is the same, and that is the argument you are giving. I have never been reported, and have never reported anyone, even if I know they are the worst that Answers will allow or they just dont "catch" them. Free speech is important, but dont use it ignorantly. If one person reports you, it doesnt mean that "Christians are not able to forgive as much as atheists." it just means that, ONE PERSON REPORTED YOU.

i've got only ever had to dam one individual because of the fact of spamming abuse and insults. I consistently enable people to touch me for any reason. Others message you and insist you demonstrate your life in a paragraph. whether that replaced into accessible it does not make any distinction they only prefer to be nasty and insult you, no rely what. frequently for having the audacity to disagree. yet whilst people prefer an extremely reliable theory upsetting grownup communication, i'm your gal. lol practising Shaman... quantum physics rocks.

I'm sorry that happened to you. This apology isn't from a "good Christian" but a poor one instead. For one to call himself a Christian they are saying they are Christ-like. I am just a poor, poor imitation of Christ. I'm a sinner and a failure, but I'm also forgiven. Its so easy for Christians to forget that once they declare themselves a Christian they are representing a faith and all of its believers. Our Savior is perfect, but we as His followers are not.

good question,. I think no one should talk about religion to each other even if they belong to the same race because it makes trouble. Religion is a personal thing not a rolex to be shown around..... keep it to ur selfs...
