That sounds like a pretty old bottle. Keep in mind that champagne does not get better with age, it's not the same as wine. Unless the year 1982 is sentimental to you, I wouldn't buy champagne that is that old.

don perrion probaly nothing, a 1982 Dom Perignon for instance will run you over $200+ depending on where and how you are buying it.
