A professional can lighten it, darken it, or possibly use a color remover. Their products are also less harsh and work better than store-bought. I would definitely go to a salon.

If you're willing to spend an extra few dollars, there is a hair color remover that will remove the color. I had a hair dye disaster myself and used this hair color remover. I think it's either by Revlon or L'oreal - forget which one. After you remove the color, you can redye it again. Of course, if you want to just 'deal with it for now', then the constant washing of your hair will eventually wear out the color or gradually fade it. What most hair stylists will tell you is that you need to wait at least 2 weeks before dying it again. I usually wait about three or four weeks before redying it, though I use the same color. I don't dye it different colors each time. Hope I've been of some help. Good luck.

You don't give enough information for a detailed answer but, in general, you can color it again. If you used box color from the store, you need to go to a salon. Color will not lift color. You can darken it or change the tone, but the only way to lighten it is to use bleach or color remover and I don't recommend doing either process at home. You'll probably end up with a lovely shade of crayon orange and that's even harder to fix. Since we don't know what you used or what you don't like about it, the best advice I can give is to go to a salon for a free consultation to find out what needs to be done to get the color you want.
good luck

I don't know. It depends on the color. Is it bleached, or did you just go a little lighter? or did you go darker? How does your hair feel now? Did you color it yourself? I don't reccommend you change it yourself. Go to a salon. Color correction is very tricky. Talk to a stylist in person and listen to what she says. Ask her exactly what she wants to do to get the color you desire and what effect it will have on your hair. If you do get it colored, insist on a deep reconstructing conditioning treatment after. If you did get it done at a salon a few days ago, and you really don't like it, go back and talk to your stylist. Most salons will try and accomidate you and try to satisfy you without addtional charge, providing you call within a couple of days and not 2 or 3 weeks. I hope this helps

Assuming you used a at home coloring kit, the quickest way to get the color out at home is to use Head and Shoulders shampoo (any kind works, but I recommend the kind for dry hair to keep it smooth) for a few days. This should at least tone down the color, if it doesn't completely strip it. Then, if you're OK with going darker, you should be fine to use a low ammonia semi-permanent color like Hydriance. If you want to go lighter or want the color out quicker than a few days, go to a salon or you could end up frying your hair!

i ought to attend some days beforehand death it decrease back, in hardship-loose words to grant the hair time to make stronger decrease back. yet it extremely is basically my kind of hair. in case you experience that your's is robust sufficient and may manage being dyed decrease back, pick for it. i ought to make certain to get the lighter bits or you'll basically have the same challenge throughout back. be careful to not get the lighter bits darker and then the darker elements a lot more beneficial darker.

You can do it again, but its better to consult a professional so you are sure to get good results and not damage your hair. Make sure to condition your hair very well if you are going to dye it again so soon.
