No, it is not possible to serve in 2 branches of the armed forces at the same time. How do I know? I asked a recruiter. It would be a conflict of interest. If one unit was deployed overseas, this would prevent you from being able to fulfill your other contract. Plus, it would be impossible to work both since most jobs consist of 40 hours or more work weeks. As for learning more than 1 mos, yes, that is possible. It's called a secondary mos. Whichever branch you're in will train you for your primary job. Then, when you have a good understanding of how that works and if and/or are qualified to learn a secondary one, the military will send you to school to learn it. But it is hard to do, not many people actually do it outside of becoming a drill instructor or recruiter.

No, though one service will occasionally "borrow" somebody from another service, and there are more joint operations and closer interservice cooperation all the time.
Why don't you think about the Marines? No matter the eventual specialty, they have that "every Marine a rifleman" philosophy.
