My children's dog woke me up at 6:00 this morning. She only went tinkle a little bit. She has been growling and staring at me all day to take her outside, but when I do she does not do anything!

If your dog hasn't potty'd since 6am, 18 hours ago, something is wrong.

I wonder to myself how old your children are? Why you don't know this dog's bathroom habits whether your children are home or not, unless they are adults and dropped the dog off with you.

Is it possible the dog has snuck off somewhere in your home and potty'd? If not, you need to consider taking her to the vet ASAP.

If the kids used to play with her alot, then that is most likely the problem. Try playing with the dog or atleast pet her often and talk to her.

Maybe she has a urinary tract infection. They are very common in dogs. It could hurt to pee.

Or she could be missing the kids. Is this the first time they've gone?

Sounds to me that the dog is missing your children. Give her time she will eventually do what she needs to do.

Take her for a walk and she will go potty for you. She wants attention and she misses the kids.

Maybe there is something outside like food which he wants.
