Im Hindu. My faith is the dharmic type which includes Bhudism,Jainsim and Sikh.As you might know Hinduism and all the dharmic faiths are more different then typical faiths. The fact that Hinduism condemns no other religion as well as all the other Dharmic faiths.Hinduism believes that the various religions are all rivers heading to the same sea.In my religion there is no "real" and "fake".There is only one supreme creator and we around the world have given different names to god. That is the motto of my religion.Since we do not believe that people who are not of the same faith as us will go to hell. That is why I am proud of being born in a Hindu family.Unlike the Abrahamic religions which have caused so much killing among mankind my faith has not done that. The purpouse of religion is to bond mankind with god.Not curse and slaughter people who are not of the same faith or not taking the same boat in the same river. That is not what religion is for.We do not believe other religions are fake.We believe in Jesus. We believe him to be the SON of god.We believe in the things he has done for mankind. We believe in god.My faith is considered one of the most primitive and yet it has so much intelligence and can relate with all other faiths. We are considered to be "cow worshippers" who pray to millions of gods and yet nobody really understand my faith and people are arrogant enough to judge it without reasearch. If by some chance you are one of those people just see the link on the sources if you have time.

First let me address the second part of your question. No, I do not believe other religions are fake. Some might be, but I believe most are based on good and indeed similar teachings.

Now, the similarity is what makes me think I'm on the right track. Most of what the major religions teach (especially within the Abrahamic faiths) is the same. There are differences, no doubt, but most differences can be seen as relatively minor, if you're willing to seek compromise.

I think my specific religion is less important, but if you must know, I am a Unitarian Christian (not to be confused with Unitarian Universalists). It is not an organized religion, and you will find most Unitarian Christians are religious pluralists.

I'm Deist and I believe in God, but I reject prophets, messiahs, and holy books (said it before, I'll say it again). I don't think of other religions as "fake" per se, just misguided. I believe Jesus was a philosopher, not the son of God and I try my best to live up to his moral guidance; same for Buddha and others.

The reason I believe my is correct is because common sense tells me there likely was a Creator (but I believe he created via the Big Bang and evolution, not some "let there be..." stuff). God has no reason for prophets because he got it right the first time; and even if he did need to talk to us, he could do it directly without a mouthpiece. God gave us reason, not religion.

If there is such a thing as the true religion then it's logical to say that there is only one. What is true religion? What is truth? It is the state of actual being, what is. Religion is the belief, or agreement with what is. The question is, what is? Jesus said to those who hated him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am, repeating the words recorded in Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Christians believe what the bible says in Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If Christianity is the truth then all other religions cannot be the truth.

I was so confused by all the lies. I was about to give up, and I cried to my Lord please show me the Way I can't go on any longer without the Truth. When He lead me to the Truth, I said Lord how can this be? This rings of Truth, but is different to what I have known. I began studying first what I thought was wrong with the Truth. Then I said the Lord, I am sorry I did not recognize the Truth the minute you showed me! I prayed to Jesus that He take away all my doubt, that I will forever be able to serve Our Father without hesitation. There can be no other Way, than that of Our Father!

I believe in ONE God and a true religion just helps us keep a straighter path to God. Just like the US and the law, the law helps us keep order. In Iraq and other third world countries where the law is in no comparison to the US, people live in fear. I want to have some structure in my life and the religion I choose helps me keep this structure. I love my Lord and pray you will find your way regardless of denomination. Good luck sweetheart...

Simply, I just used my mind and I figured out that God needs no son or even a wife, cuz he's the one and only, it's like this :
1- we have one god created all of us.
2- we have prophets and messengers ( not sons ) from god to guide people to the right way.
3- and we have the rest of people, good people will go to heaven, the bad one to hell.
see how simple it's ?!!!!

I don't.

I believe that the perception and comprehension of every human is too limited to truly grasp any communication from any God or Goddess, so every religion is as true as every other and as false as every other.

There are so many sects, cults, religions, philosophies, and movements in the world, all of which claim to be the right way or the only true path to Allah. How can one determine which one is correct or if, in fact, all are correct? The method by which the answer can be found is to clear away the superficial differences in the teachings of the various claimants to the ultimate truth, and identify the central object of worship to which they call, directly or indirectly. False religions all have in common one basic concept with regards to Allah. They either claim that all men are gods or that specific men were Allah or that nature is Allah or that Allah is a figment of man's imagination.

Thus, it may be stated that the basic message of false religion is that Allah may be worshipped in the form of His creation. False religion invites man to the worship of creation by calling the creation or some aspect of it God. For example, prophet Jesus invited his followers to worship Allah but those who claim to be his followers today call people to worship Jesus, claiming that he was Allah!

Buddha was a reformer who introduced a number of humanistic principles to the religion of India. He did not claim to be God nor did he suggest to his followers that he be an object of worship. Yet, today most Buddhists who are to be found outside of India have taken him to be God and prostrate to idols made in their perception of his likeness.

By using the principle of identifying the object of worship, false religion becomes very obvious and the contrived nature of their origin clear. As God said in the Our'aan:

That which you worship besides Him are only names you and your forefathers have invented for which Allah has sent down no authority: The command belongs only to Allah:

He has commanded that you only worship Him; that is the right religion, but most men do not understand ". (Soorah Yoosuf 12:40)

It may be argued that all religions teach good things so why should it matter which one we follow. The reply is that all false religions teach the greatest evil, the worship of creation. Creation-worship is the greatest sin that man can commit because it contradicts the very purpose of his creation. Man was created to worship Allah alone as Allah has explicitly stated in the Our'aan:

"I have only created Jlnns and men, that they may worship me"(Soorah Zaareeyaat 51:56)

Consequently, the worship of creation, which is the essence of idolatry, is the only unforgivable sin. One who dies in this state of idolatry has sealed his fate in the next life. This is not an opinion, but a revealed fact stated by Allah in his final revelation to man:

"Verily Allah will not forgive the joining of partners with Him, but He may forgive (sins) less than that for whom so ever He wishes"(Soorah An- Nisaa 4:48 and 116)
