Registered Nurse here; First you may require antibiotics. In the meantime here's what you can do to care for your ear piercing. First wash thoroughly with soap and water, then cleanse with alcohol, followed by peroxide. Then rinse with alcohol again, cleaning away the bubbles from the peroxide, then apply a thin layer of neosporin triple antibiotic oint. can purchase this over the counter. Repeat treatment 3 times per day. If infection worsens, or doesn't respond with in 3 days, seek medical attention. Thanks for the opportunity to address your question.

Douse it with peroxide- and make sure the peroxide gets into the hole- do this continually until the fizzing stops then place an antibiotic cream on both side and rub into hole-- If it gets red- and swells- see a doc and take the earring out- it may not have been surgically clean and/or you may have an allergic reaction to the metal it is made of

Get some Hydrogen Peroxide and clean the infection out thoroughly. Put some on a cotton ball and hold it on both sides of the ear lobs. After a little bit remove the cotton balls and dab at the ear lobs with a dry cotton ball.

Get some Neosporin, It comes in a tube and it has two kinds, one with pain reliever.
Put a dab on the sores after you have cleaned out the infection.

Clean the posts before putting them back in.

Go to the doctor and get some antibiotics before you get a serious staph infection. You should be cleaning the areas with just soap and water; no neosporin or peroxide (it kills new skin cells). Call your doc. Godloveya.

Dab Hydrogen Peroxide several times a day; front and back. Wear earrings that are for sensitive ears and sterile.
