Of course it was right of us to invade and get it back.

Well, if it wasn't the OIL, then why did we invade? They were obviously not a threat in any way.

it's not about physical oil...

it's about the oil market... which is a global market...

wage war on an oil producer... oil prices go up out of fear (even Canada's and Mexico's, because there is a fear that there will be less overall)... even if the supply is unaffected...

billions of dollars are made...

they don't care about getting more oil and actually lowering the price... why would they... out of the "kindness of their hearts?"... hahhaha...

they only want to put fear in the market, drive up prices and cash in...

and just on a side note... if we invade Iran... get ready for $3 at the pump again...

I can't believe that people think that the invasion of Iraq was to get oil for the American people. Here it is, several years later. Look at the price of gasoline.

The Iraqi oil was stolen by the United Nations. I heard that they transferred it to the International Monetary Fund, another criminal enterprise.

We don't need Iraqi oil. We have plenty of oil, but our politicians are in the pocket of the big oil companies. They have the oil locked up (for environmental reasons, they tell us), which makes us dependent on OPEC (which is them).

There is a lot of oil on this planet. Unfortunately, politicians are for sale. That's why the big oil companies have a monopoly.

How, exactly, has the US taken over control of Iraq's oil? Hell, I WISH we would have stolen the natural resources of those murderous savages. Unfortunately, Bush is playing nice with the primitives, not that they care.

Do some research. Canada and Mexico are the United States' two largest single source suppliers for oil.

Wow! NAFTA makes all sorts of sense now, doesn't it?

You failed to mention where that oil is right now? Is there a direct pipeline to Crawford?

The fact is: NO Iraqi oil has touched US soil. Had we wanted their oil, lifting sanctions would have made a lot more sense.

Ambition drove many men to become false; to have one thought locked in the breast, another ready on the tongue.
