i have asked his same question on numerous different occasions....and i can not figure it out either. it is so difficult being attracted to someone that wont give you welcoming hints. this probably didnt help to much, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. good luck darling

You can't read someone until you get to know them very well, and even then, you might be wrong in your thinking.
Understand this, there are some guys who are reluctant to allow anyone to get close enough to read. And the problem comes here because this is going to be the same guy who cannot say how he feels about you.
My father never told my mother that he loved her. I know sometime in the past he might have in his younger days when he was dating her. But there never was a question in all the years they were married whether he loved her or not. It was understood just like he knew that she loved him, but they simply didn't say the words. Their actions spoke for them.
I'm not sure what your situation is, but evidently he is a quiet person and you have no clue what he's thinking. And even if you brought it up to him, it would make no difference, because this is the way he is, and you ain't gonna change it.

Erm - most of us men are taught to hide our feelings and emotions... though it varies somewhat from culture to culture.
So how do you read us... that's tough to answer. We're much more likely to smile at a girl that we like... and we tend to look at or stare at women we're attracted to. Some stare openly, others do the furtive glances approach... but only if we like what we see.
Although we're much less likely to laugh than a woman is... we do laugh if we find something particularly funny. And smile when pleased.
Sometimes we frown when angry, frustrated or irritated (and sometimes not...) - finding out if we're sad is much more difficult - most of us simply don't cry around women or other men - and some of us simply don't cry at all... we just bottle it up until it turns cold and angry.
Wow - this is a lot harder than I thought... I've got to ponder this more, and if I come up with anything else/more useful I'll amend my post.
