Any other country has armed forces on foreign soil?

There are military bases in Turkey, Bosnia, Germany, London, Italy,....those are just the ones i can think of off hand. As for how many troops are in Europe, that i am not sure. There are about 12 Army posts in Europe i believe. As for other branches, i know there are a few air force bases in Europe as well, but i dont know exactly how many or where else there are posts. Sorry, i dont think i helped much.

At it's height, there were more American soldiers in Europe than European soldiers. Since then, there have been scale backs and troops now in Iraq and Afganistan.
There are Chinese soldiers in Tibet, Etheopian soldiers in Somalia, French soldiers in Lebanon, Canadian soldiers in the U.S. (as part of the joint air defense).
