I was really shocked when my ex boyfriend who dumped almost a year ago, called me to "meet up" and see a movie. Let's just say the hang out went realy bad, he treated me bad ( ie no door holding, walking in front of me, and he didn't even walk me to my door at the end of the night). After the movie he just took me home. I don't see what the point of that date was then. On the drive home, I asked him why he wanted to meet up & he said "just to hang out, I'd like to see u every once in awhile". He really meant, I wanna see u every year, on my terms & I'll treat u like this. I went home & decided that I don't even wanna see him once a yr & that I had to tell him this & how he treated me bad. So I went on msn after the date & I told him exactly how he made me feel.

I said "You know, I honestly did wanna see u, & I did kinda miss u, & even though u'r a nice guy, after the way u treated me today, the way u rushed it, & the way u said bye in the car, we don't even need to see each other once a year, we should pretend like today was our final goodbye." He was shocked & kept saying sorry. I finally just said bye & logged out without letting him say anything else. I now feel really bad. I just wanna cal him & say "I just want to end it on a good note" and maybe he'll want to say more. Did I overreact and how can I fix it?

I would not try to breathe life back into something that is obviously dead!

Whatever you two had is over and I would put it behind you and move on to bigger and better things.

Good Luck!

well if i say not holding the door for you isnt treatign you badly. i mena was t his a "date"? he said he just "wanted to hang out" not "go on a date" maybe your expectations were too high. afterall you gus are just friends but do whatever you want to. maybe he really is sorry and you should try doign this again in the future to see if he has changed....good luck

He wants you for sex... he probably just broke up with his new girlfriend and knows you really liked him and will put out for him pretty easily. Sorry, guys suck. Stay away. Say, "no thanks, Michael is taking me to the Bahamas and I have to pack..."

i think he wants to start a new book of friendship from both of you and showing no guilt about the past or not showing any regrets.
