lol I certainly hope not, cuz I'm single. I feel fine though. It gets to me a little bit on New Year's Eve cuz I'm usually the only single person at my house, but oh well. I'd rather wait for someone I actually want to be with then some random guy I don't really like.

No, it is not! Why don't you go to the places that you like to go to? Why didn't you plan to spend Christmas in Switzerland, or Copenhagen?
Do you know that had you posted an ad in a Scandinavian news paper, saying that you are an American and would like to come there and spend Christmas in someones home, you would need until next summer, just to write a polite response to all the offers you would have had?
If you are home alone, it is because you have chosen to be alone!
You could have asked any church about a very poor family, and
helped them with the Christmas meal, and some very small something for the children!
Tragic is that you chose not to do anything! Not to share, not to smile on those that have NOTHING compared to you. You chose
to be with you, alone! That is what is tragic.

NO! if you have family, just spend christmas with them and if you still live with them, then there is nothing to worrie about. so if you dont have a date at christmas time, it will be fine.
