lemesee the christian Taliban argument again. I guess you don't care to realize how essentially different and contradictory these two faiths are. Funny how Christianity is always compared to Islam in this way. Not Hinduism, Buddism, Judaisim, other faiths etc. I guess you see Christians are out there beheading people, putting on suicide belts on a buses to kill civilians. teaching kids hate since childhood. Tell me if you've seen these things. It's funny how you people take the worst of Islam and apply it to christianity.
Do you believe that Jesus Christ is a fanatic? When Christ was alive he told the truth that people didn't want to hear. That's why people put him to death on the cross. Him and his followers didn't use the sword but believed in speaking out the truth. You should take Christianity on on it's own merit. You should be taking on Islam on it's own merit. Islam is Islam, Christianity is Christianity. It's the difference between night and day..

Sorry, but being neither Christian nor Muslim, but rather believing in Peace, I was amazed by the Christian woman defending all the actions of the war by Bush including torture . It seems to me the "fanatical" fundamentalist Christians are not far behind strapping bombs to their bodies in order to wipe out the Muslims. To think that any religion has the answer to it all, with so many people in the world believing so many different things is so sad to me. And to think that Jesus came down to earth to teach us anything other than to love one another is outrageous to me. And to think that God actually wrote the bible (come on, it was written by humans with a whole bunch of hearsay and story telling) and now we are going to have bible camps in which children are told to wage war (no matter how the lady likes to put it, war has a negative violent meaning). Please, christians and non-christians, can anyone see what I am seeing.

I have to disagree to some extent here when you say they will do anything thier religion asks. As far as doing anything asked, Jesus gave a sermon and said love your enemies and most christians, myself included dont do it. Were told to forgive and we dont do that so well either. No one lives up to all that Jesus taught.
I at one time used to do streat evanglism but I dont think I would be a suicide bomber if I was an Afgani Muslim. I do agree with there being no difference between people who kill those who disagree with their theology wether they be one religion or another. I just think there is a differeence between beheading people and belittling people. Of course I cant say for certian wether or not my zeal would bring me to jihad suicide bombings if I grew up in that culture with those teachins about killing infidels, and that is a big difference between these two religions but , I imagine its a bigger step to take to kill compared to streat preaching.

What's a "fantatical Christian"? You might want to use the old handy-dandy spell-checker next time.
I don't see any "fanatical Christians" hijacking airplanes, blowing up crowded marketplaces, or filming themselves beheading captives. Do you?

Any religious fanatic is going to think they're the only holy ones and everyone else is doomed to hell, and won't listen to reason, and will do whatever they *think* god is telling them. It's pretty scary.
