I have been doing research online and have found replacement power cables from Kimber, Nordost, PS Audio, Cardas, Monster and Audioquest. While Kimber did win an award in Audiophile magazine, the write up for PS Audio's SC statement cable appears to be very good as well. Nordost makes a great product too, but have read some complaints that it actually cheats the bass. So I am basically looking to see if anyone owns any of the replacement cables from these companies or what they could recommend as a good replacement power cord.

For many years there has been a debate within the audiophile community whether power cables influenced the sound of components.

Someone finally performed a double-blind study. The only reasonable solution for such a debate. A power cord made no discernable difference in sound.

Choose your power cord replacement on appearance (It’s nothing more than decoration.)

I have some purty Audioquest interconnects and speaker cables.

This question does not make sense. Power cord for what equipment? Most audio and video equipment comes with the power cord attached or uses a standard 3 prong 110v power cable that you see on computers.

A power cord should not affect quality. To improve quality, you should have a power conditioner or line conditioner to clean the power going to your equipment.

Please elaborate on what you are trying to do.
