A very wise person once told me, "I can't garuntee that you won't feel pain, but that doesn't mean that you have to suffer." Basically what that means, life is going to give you what it gives you and there's no way you can control it. But one thing that you can control and honestly, it's really the only thing that really matters in your life, is how you react to it. I'm trying to simply this as best as I can. I'm willing to bet that right now you're hurting because of something that has happened and I wouldn't be suprised if it is stinging you especially more right now because of the holidays. But if you can tell your brain/thoughts, the part that's just going through all the crud that's bringing you down, that this is not what you (you and your thoughts are NOT the same) want. You might find the edge of it all may just go away. The most important thing to remember is that the REAL YOU is NOT what your brain is talking about. This part of your brain is actually your EGO. Don't let your EGO tell you who you are and what you can and can't do. There is a lot more to this and I know it's really hard, but if you can make this connection, you'll be much better off.

Life is a journey filled both with good and bad times. At times the obstacles could be very difficult and you may fill frustrated but just keep in mind that we all learn from every experience and that it's because of all the hardship that we grow into more matured individuals. If there is no challenge in life, then the journey of life would become meaningless. No matter how hard it is just have faith and try to see a positive side of things. Keep in mind that everything is a new experience. Best of luck

Because feeling is what lets us know that we are alive. If we didn't struggle, we wouldn't appreciate the good times when we have them. Pain is actually a gift because without it we wouldn't know happiness, peace, or contentment. It lets us know that the good times are not everlasting, that we have to grasp every minute of them that we have, and to keep on pushing to regain happiness once again. That's what it means to live life.

That means you are living....you are feeling something....In death there is no longer feeling......Things will get better for you, just don't stay in the past, try to focus on each day being a new opportunity, and don't worry about the future......Try to eliminate the things and the people in your life that make you feel so bad...Do something nice for yourself.....Do something nice for someone less fortunate.....Feel better........................

I wonder the same things sometimes. What helps me that someone told me that God does not give us more problems than we can handle. We have to become stronger through the obstacles that we go through.

Our life is to be lived and we learn from being hurt . I think that this makes us a stronger person, because we can learn from this. You know the old saying we learn from our mistakes.
