I want to grow muscle MASS, not endurance or strength. How long do I wait between workouts of the same body part?

Punish those muscles every other day.
Monday.....Workout on day 1
Tuesday.........Rest on day 2
Wednesday...Workout on day 3
Thursday.......Rest on day 4
Friday.......Workout on day 5
Do cardio on the weekend,and start all over again on Monday!

48 hours, work out one area on one day, say upper body, then switch to lower body next day, then you can switch back to upper body. Muscle mass is built not just from the work out but also from the resting period, plus if you do heavy lifting you have to give healing time to your muscle because every time you work out it rips the muscle in that area.
