Dogs are pregnant for 63 days and this certainly sounds like labor from your description. How old is the dog? Is it her first litter? If she's young and/or has never had a litter she may just be trying to figure out what's comfortable for her.
She will have the puppies where she wants to, not necessarily where you want her to. So be prepared with things like clean blankets or towels, and close off any rooms you don't want her in. When the puppies come out she should remove the amniotic sac herself, but if she doesn't you will have to do it for her; they're pretty easy to rip but it will be messy. If any of the puppies are not breathing rub their chests gently with a towel and be sure their noses and mouths are clear of mucous or fluid. If you are really worried about her, or she doesn't have the puppies soon, you should see your vet asap.
And please be sure that the puppies get their first dewormer when they are about 10-14 days old, and their first shot at six weeks of age. Talk to your vet about scheduling that.
Good luck!

sounds like she is close, don't force her to have them in the box if that is not where she wants to have them. She needs to make HER OWN nest not one you give her, put some blankets down and see if she makes a bed, she will need somewhere quite to be, just let her do it by her self she will know what to do.
There isn't much you can do, just make sure she is ok, don't assist her in having the puppies you may hurt her or the puppies and when the puppies are born don't go picking them up she may reject them if they have your smell on them.
If you have any problems call your local vet. She will be fine, she'll know what to do just let her do what she wants to do, if she wants to walk around then let her, and if she doesn't like your box let her find somewhere she will be comfortable having the puppies. And don't panic the puppies will come when they are ready sometimes the labor can take hours from start to finish.

Has she carried them for 63 to 65 days yet? count the days starting from when you think she was breed! It ranges from 60 to 70 days but most go in labor after 63 to 65 days! Is she staying close to you or more around you then usual? is she looking for a spot to hide and have them. You should keep her in her box if its time and stay with her!! also go here and read more about the signs---://users.ev1.net/~w5www/breeding.html
Good luck to you and her !

Yes, she is in labor. Maybe you can move the box to a different area of the house. I suggest you sit up with her tonight, to make sure things are going okay. Put the coffee on and get comfortable.

It sounds to me like she is in labor. If she doesn't want to have them in her whelping box let her have them where she is comfortable. That is the price you have to pay some times when breeding dogs. Good luck.

Your canines sounds like she is in deep subject. 1st degree of hard paintings can final as long as 12 hours however with degree one there is no panting. degree II they start to pant and push. this could take no time for her to have the 1st puppy. She is having a continual hard paintings and that's serious. She the two has actual blockage or uterine inertia. you may take her to the vet.

Yes she is. Make her stay in her box. She will want to wander and dig but just make her stay in there and do her thing. And stay with her, don't leave her alone for a second.
