Most people can and do express their emotions. Some show the full range while others (usually males) tend to show only the most violent or strong ones and keep the sensitive ones to themselves.
Apparently emotions are meant to be expressed. Those who suppress the expression of their emotion often have problems in communication with other humans. This is complicated by those (males and females) who express emotions that they do not feel (usually as a manipulative measure).
Common strong emotions expressed in public that are acceptable seem to include anger, grief, shock, extreme joy and fear. Very sensitive people are often considered "whiners" if they express too much or too often.

This is a very difficult thing to do. A psychologist named Paul Ekman cataloged all of the different facial expressions that a person can make. After he finished his very detailed work, he claimed that all people unconsciously display their true emotions on their face even when they're really trying not to (usually only for a very brief second). Ekman looked at footage of court cases where the witness was lying, and by slowing down the tape and pausing it, he can catch tiny moments when the person is making his/her true facial expression. You can show less emotion by keeping your facial muscles relaxed, and avoiding eye contact (wearing sunglasses like poker players will help a lot), but beware: someone trained in recognizing facial expressions may still be able to see your true emotion.

Can a person show his emotion? "Yes".
Will a person show his emotion? "Maybe"
and sometimes you will even show an emotion and not even know it.
You can show your emotions not only by your face but Body Language can show LOTS!

I don't see why not, regardless of who or what the situation is. Their ur feelings, ur emotions, and if u feel like letting them out, then u should. As long as u can deal w/the aftermath.

most people can and should....there are some who just bottle everything up. that is not healthy....emotions are important to share and to get out of your system as long as it is not in a unsafe manner.

If the person is willing or not, it all depends if the person is comfortable to show what they are feeling.
