I asked this question a few hours ago, but I need more feedback.

I was communicating with a guy on myspace who lives in another state.
I live on the west coast in LA, he lives around the New York area and we have never met.
(PLEASE SPARE ME THE MYSPACE IS STUPID AND LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS DO NOT WORK LECTURE)

We both have a mutual friend here on the west coast, and we both know what one another look like, etc.

Anyway, our messages have been flirty. I tell him he’s sexy, he replies telling me I’m sexy too…etc etc.

Well, in one message to me he wrote;
“” I may be coming to LA at the end of January. How is the weather there, because it’s getting cold here.””

I thought that he was throwing some hint and wanted to meet me. I mean, why else tell me he is coming to my city, certainly you can look up the weather anywhere.
Therefore, I said, "Let me know if you want a tour of the city.''
He wrote back, "Right on girl, I might take you up on that tour."

WTF?

He said he 'might' and that means he's not sure.

I guess you'll know whether he was blowing you off if you never hear from him again.

Don't worry I won't lecture you about long distance relationships because I've seen this work for a few people. Of course, it demands much effort on both sides but it does work. As for your question, we girls indeed tend to react to words. However, keep in mind that guys often dont realise the impact of their words. So maybe it was not a brush off at all. You know what? We girls are pretty good with words and conversations so I suggest you bring up the subject again in a very subtle way and try to get concrete answers from him. I know you can do it ;-)

You are so overreacting. You've never met the man. Try playing it cool. If he wants to meet you, he will let you know. If he doesn't, for whatever reason, then that's that. Insisting on meeting him when he really doesn't want to is a recipe for disaster.

That is a strike against him that he uses the expression, "Right on girl", but I don't think he was brushing you off.

IT REALLY SOUND LIKE YOU ARE OVERREACTING JUST
A LITTLE BIT.. IT SOUND LIKE HE LOOKING FORWARD
TO MEETING YOU. SO IF AND WHEN THIS HAPPEN
THEN TAKE HIM UP ON THE TOUR.
