It was excellent. Unfortunately due to the very successful efforts of those who stand to lose profits, like the Bush family, this story that needed to be thoroughly aired in the 1980's and 90's is only coming out now when it is so late in the game. Many are still in denial and curse the messenger, and we will probably have to wait until we have colossal super storms or Florida under water before we will be permitted to act on a national scale. Do whatever you can to push this issue, as we all have so much to lose the longer we wait. This issue shows how weak our scientific education has become that few understand that the whole world is a system, and that the effects in one place will be felt everywhere by everyone.

I like the simplicity of the movie, or documentary, and I agree with Gore. This is not a political issue is a humanity issue, but the people with power doesn't really care for social or ecological concerns, they just care for the money.
Recently I see pictures comparing the condition of the beaches at Rincon and Ocean Park in Puerto Rico from the 1930 and today. A great area of the beach at Ocean Park doesn't exist and in Rincon the houses are in the water literally. The pictures from the 30's shown splendid white beaches where you can play football. What happened to this places is erosion or the sea is rising?

I've always been a big fan of Al Gore but when I saw the movie, I thought "Wow, I think he really is going to try and run for President again even if he hasn't announced yet, and if he does, I hope he wins." He makes some very good points and forces the viewer to think.

Gore is making his predictions based on the changes in the last 40 years of the earths climate compared to the changes in the last hundreds of thousands of years. There is no doubt that in the last 40 years the environment has seen extreme changes. Gore is simply saying at the rate we are releasing Co2 in the air, we are going to keep seeing these drastic permutations. A meteorologist takes information from a satellite and tries to interpret the movement of different hot/cold waves to determine whether it will rain, be windy, etc. in the next few days. Gore is taking on a much more general task.

I saw it in the theater. It was the only movie I've been to where every single person in the audience just sat there through the credits until the house lights came back on. I was blown away.
The only thing I can compare it to is finding out about the holocaust. Horrifying and vitally important at the same time.

Thank you for asking this question and to Al Gore for bringing this serious issue to our attention. I agree that everyone should see this film and congratulate you on the positive changes you are making in your life. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL! It is up to each of us to do something about it; so that our children will have a world left to live in. Write your elected officials about your concern.

He made alot of points that have been on the Down-Low for quite some time.
There hasn't been alot or any media coverage as far as I can tell.
Great movie, go watch it if you have time during your winter break.
