We were the best of friends before Thanksgiving and I went out of town and came back and she hasn't spoken to me since. She told my husband she felt uncomfortable talking to me and that she loves me but doesn't feel right around me. Instead of solving it she now acts like she doesn't like me at all by not speaking and so forth. Is it worth discussing about with her since it is her problem or should I let her be set in her ways? I'm not hurt by any means but I feel she needs to learn how to speak up if she ever wants to make it in the real world.

Nope this is it...which is why i'm so confused if it at all matters she's still in high school so maybe that's why she feels like this towards me...wish I had more to go by...all she told my husband was that she's uncomfortable.

shes probably jealous of you and your husband and is all about getting attention from him especially around this time of year, just dont talk to her at all, anyways its not her you have to keep happy its your husband and yourself.

it sounds like she is angry because you were not there for thanksgiving. i would go to her and ask her what made her change towards you so drastically.if she has no answer then i would just stay away from her till she comes to her senses.does she not realize that you have family outside of her.i would make new friends and go bowling and enjoy myself regardless of her. it sounds like she is a shakey friend any way.if she can get mad at the drop of a hat then she is not worth having as a friend. move on and enjoy your life with better friends and dont look back.

Talk to her and if the conversation goes in a bad direction cut it short and leave. It is always good to bring things out in the open.

You did not marry your sister in law right? If she is not talking to you inspite of your being nice to her it is her problem. She probably is jealous. Stop talking to her and ignore her completely as if she is not existing. She will know her place and start beheaving normal.

Quite frankly it is her issue, but since she is your sister-in-law to keep the peace in your home -- make an attempt to resolve the issue so at least you can say you tried.

She's family. You guys can always work things out. Call her and ask her out to lunch and make her come or either go to her house. Talk things out.
