Yes and yes-For 3 yeaqrs of having such severe insomonia that I stayed awake for 3 solid nights with zero sleep, wide awake-cleaned cupbds, wrote letters, read, etc. I now can fall asleep at least for 5-6 hours off and on and back to church and it is sheer joy! It isn't just about christmas-but the whole year through that we can worship Him who died for us and rose again that we too will have eternal life-besides which, our Lord was not born even in Dec. but after the harvest in Oct. not that it matters I guess.

Well,I must be one day ahead of you. It's the 24th (Sunday) where I live.I went to church today, like a normal Sunday, but it was a Christmas-related service. On the 25th my church is holding a special Christmas sevice.I usually go to that, but this year I am visiting my family.

Merry Christmas :)

I will be tomorrow, but we will be out of town at my daughter's home for Christmas day, so I won't be there for Monday service :(

EDIT:
J.D.
Above me; you should be ashamed of yourself! Talking about your mother that way! Not to mention dishonouring the Lord as well!

god willing ill be there both days. I'm a christian and we not suppose to forsake the assembly of god. we get strength from being around other saints in church. the bible says where there is unity there is strength. and also a threefold cord is not easily broken .when we touch and agree in prayer he [god] is in the mist of us hope this helps you god bless merry Christmas

Not me--I found out long ago that God skips churches to see where REAL worship happens.

That would be the soup kitchens, the thrift stores, sometimes the streets.....
If he looks for you where the help is needed, will you be in his empty store?
