a friend of mine said that his girlfriend had humanpathloma cancer, that is passed from a man to a women, but does not affect the man

hpv isn't cancer. and cancer isn't contagious. but men are carriers of hpv, they can have it and not have any symtoms from it. But they can give hpv to their woman and then if she gets hpv she could devolp cells on her cervix that could eventually become cancerous. hpv has many different strains and not all hpv infections will have the same symtoms. Some people will get genital warts, but there are tons of strains so if you want more info i'd try webmd. Just remember to always wear a condom!

It's HPV Human Papailoma Virus. It is sexually transmitted and usually neither one has any symptoms. However, it can cause gential warts - same virus. And in women it causes cervical cancer.

Ive never heard of contracting cancer but i do know that their is a higher risk of cervical cancer when a woman has sex with men that are uncircumcised.

It's the HVP virus that is contagious, not the cancer itself. The virus can cause cervical cancer though.
