biking helps too
i bike to school everyday (thats 2.5 miles) so i have very strong lean thighs
but if you want to gain muscles go on higher gear
if only lose more fat in that area stay on lower gear
but muscles helps you burn calories and fat

The best exercise to do what to thighs? There are different protocols for different results, so I would like to help but need more info.

I agree with the person who said SQUATS! Because I was thinking the same. You could also do lunges, but the squats are really going to do it.

SQUATS! Big time helper- probably within the first few weeks you should start feeling it.
