Technically, everyone is born a muslim and then converted in some way through rituals to another "faith". What Islam means is submission. Think about it. A newborn is in total submission to its parents. It can not eat on its own, it can not change its diapers, it can't do anything but use some muscles to cry, sleep, and eliminate waste. That's something like what muslims are. Well, idealistically. Worshipping one God, depending on that one God for everything, but also knowing you must do your part to complete it all. Technically, you are still muslim for life, and when you come back if you were raised in a different faith, you are blessed 1000 times over and are given a clean slate to start with. All past sins are forgiven becuase you did not know you were doing wrong. You have heard many bad things about muslims, and as a muslim woman, I can tell you they are not true about the religion itself. The so called male "followers" are another twisted story.

Its Muslim, if you choose to be yes.

[002.256] There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût and believes in God, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And God is All-Hearer, All-Knower

(V.2:256) The word Tâghût covers a wide range of meanings: It means anything worshipped other than the Real God (Allâh), i.e. all the false deities. It may be satan, devils, idols, stones, sun, stars, angels, human beings, who were falsely worshipped and taken as Tâghût. Likewise saints, graves, rulers and leaders are falsely worshipped and wrongly followed but the one who does not accept to be worshipped, will not be considered as a Tâghût. Sometimes Tâghût means a false judge who gives a false judgement (See V.4:60). [See Tafsir Ibn Kathir; and (V.4:51)].

I can only assume you mean "Muslim"...

Well, being "born a Muslim" is difficult, since being Muslim is dependent on your adherence to the Islamic faith... if you are born in a Muslim family, they might consider you a Muslim for life, which would make it dangerous in some places to try to convert to another faith, since converting from Islam is punishable by death in most Islamic countries. This is not to say that they are encouraged to kill people of other religions, only Muslims who change their faith.

Absolutley not. Christianity is open to anyone. You are not required in the free world to belong to anything you do not want. I do not know where you live, but have heard that people are treated horribly that do not like all that burka stuff.
