I am asking if anyone out there has ever been in a serious relationship w/a sex addict, married to one....like was it really exciting and lustful at 1st, only to discover later that it only lead to severe problems because of their addiction. I would appreciate honest answers please from someone experienced on this matter. Thank you.

yes, i'm one's involve. my girlfriend is not just a sex addict but I consider a maniac. We live in one place. She want to have sex 5 times a day. She taught me how and I learned a lot. I left her because it's not love but lust is what we feel. She made me a professional sex acrobat. I admit I like it. BUT, who ever your partner is, you must learn how to respect sex. If you cant, you will carry the side effect of a sex addict for the rest of your life.

Do you wanna know the side effect? I believe you already do.

Nope but it is a serious illness and needs to be addressed by a professional. It sounds good in theory but really they usually can't settle for one person.

i don't know what severe problems you're talking about. though sex may still be good...we found personality differences which built a huge gap mentally and emotionally...
