Ok, im a girl. Im 14 turning 15. Im not a type of hairy girl. But still, i have underarm hair and on my legs too. When i was little, i shaved my legs at the age of about 11 or 12. Now my legs hair are like real thick and hairy. For all of my friends, once they shave their legs, they can keep it the same for a week or more. But if i shave my legs (using Venus razor + Skintimate shaving gel), the next day, hair started to grow again. What should i do now ??? Is there any way to help me remove my body hair for a longer time, or might be life time ???? Please help !!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!

hair grows back that quickly on/for some people. Thats normal. If ya want to help it, try a few different products and see what works best. Nair, Epple Stop Plus...I dont know if you have a "Sallys Beauty Supply" store in your area or not, but try a shop like that (they sell hair products, nail stuff, etc.) and see what they have. I ordered Epple Stop Plus on line a couple years ago and that works best for me. You rub it on, let it sit for 5 minutes, wipe it off and then shower. Afterwards, use the lotion that came with it and the hair stays away for 2-3 weeks.
Like I said, look around at a few products and try 1 at a time...see what works best. =) Good Luck!!

Best advice would be to shave everyday. Since it's the winter, wear long pants and go a few days without shaving :)

Try cheap hair-removal things, like Nair. You can buy it at any drug store like Walgreens. Also, you may have a dull razor blade. Get a new blade and see if that helps.

Talk to your mom about shaving; she has years of experience and may have a similar hair type as you.

I would suggest have your Mom take you to the hair dressers and have you legs waxed. then they don't grow back for 6 weeks. It may hurt a little at the start but they can put numbing spray on first so it doesn't hurt you can even have your under arms and facial hair done. I used to have customers that had it done thru my Salon all the time. I used to be a hair stylist before my car accident.

Well since you started to shave younger your hair started to grow faster. So you might just need to wax! i started to shave my face when i saw my dad when i was young but now i have to shave everyday (yes i'm a male)

You can try different things like waxxing and things like Nair. All people are different so you may have to shave more often then your friends. Don't worry though because over time as you get out of puberty your hair growth will slow down.

once you started the process of shaving..you can't go back. some girls simply have to shave more often then others..everyone is different. the only way to permantly remove it is through electrolysis...which is very costly. you can try other hair removal options like veet or nair...but i would imagine your results would be the same. i'm sorry to say that you will probably have to shave everyday.

there is a device called an epilady. it yanks the hairs out of your legs. or grow dreads and let it go! shaving didnt make your hait thicker. it would have ben thick anyway, its just the way God made you.
