The U.S. does NOT have the capability to invade Iran. American politicians are no fool. America is a sworn enemy of Iran, so if they were sure of their military power against Iran they wouldn't hesitate to attack Iran. So what's the reason for all this negotiation? It goes without saying that America already feels weak and hopeless with all this humpty-dumpty mess in Iraq. America won't be able to attack any country for at least a couple of decades with the disaster they have created in Iraq.
So please don't even think about attacking another country, especially if the country is "the Great Persia".

Iran is not the first nor the last country who is rejecting immediately a UN resolution...As for a military strike,I doubt it...US is too busy with Iraq and Afghanistan where it created a total mess...And even if they would attack Iran, unlike Iraq,Iran does have the capacity to defend itself and more win a war...And Israel, after this summer I think Iran would be too much for them...Both US and Israel are perfectly aware that Iran has the means to defend itself from any military strike and more,in case that happens they would have the support of Russia and China...And not even US is that brave...

many Passive answers on this question. Iran knows the UN from past practice will do nothing. This is about control on Iran's part. They know that Russia and China will not allow any resolution to invade Iran to occur. That will leave the US to try and build another coalition to take the matter head on. This sounds all to familiar. If all the nuclear enrichment was for peaceful means only, why didn't the UN say so ? As far as Israel having nuclear weapons or not, they have never threatened to wipe out a race of people like Iran has.

No air strike, not yet anyway....unless they attack Israel then there will be trouble.....Rejecting the resolution clearly shows they have something to hide, that their uranium enrichment is not just for power, it is for weapons.......We did make some concessions, but only to help Russia come to our side...They are neighbors of Iran and big exporters to Iran. It was important that they be with the UN on this matter.....

When Iran rejected did they mention anything about their right to develop nuclear power or that the UN / US has not said anything to Israel for breeaking the same law?

no. more political rhetoric. iran has a right under the NPT to develop nuclear power. they are guilty of nothing that others have not done before. bush was with iran before he was against iran.

who knows what they are guilty of?

meathead. israel has threatened others. indirectly but still threats to wipe others out. iran has not threatened to wipe any race or country out. in fact name the last time iran/persia invaded/attacked anyone offensivly. research, you have a computer.

No, I hope not. Remember that there are innocent people in Iran that shouldn't have to suffer.

Maybe we can try to reason a little bit longer.

They'll have the same opportunity Iraq had. We'll be overly nice. Ask them very nicely. Then Final warning and however the military generals want to wrestle them down. Then after we do it the Libs will protest and stir the crap. Or they will be in office and we'll get nuked for sure because they turned their head to them...
