I moved to the Colorado Rockies about 3 weeks ago, and I've been having some nasty sinus problems. When I first got here, I actually had a sinus infection, and I managed to get rid of it with some antibiotics, but I still have bad congestion pretty much all the time. Decongestant pills do absolutely nothing, and any nasal sprays that are effective aren't meant to be used for more than a couple days. Plus, my health insurance doesn't kick in until Jan. 1. Stupid American health system.
Any ideas? Please help.

I live at a similar elevation in a neighboring state and when I have people from the East Coast (or other radically different elevations) visit, I always have them drink a lot of extra water, take a baby aspirin daily (to thin the blood) and take extra vitamin B. It probably won't kick the sinus trouble right away, but it will help give you more energy and not be so tired which might help you tolerate the sinus crap a little better. Hope you're feeling better soon....
