Love is a strong word. Love is totally different than liking someone. If you honesty love someone, you don't say "I like you". On the flip side, you don't tell someone that you love them when you deep down really don't.

" Love" is basically view as a committment in a relstionship . It serves as a affirmation that you really, really into this person and wants him/her in your life, and possibly entails sexual feelings/acts.
" Like" is more subtle, sweet and friendly. It is more ambiguous, fuzzy kind of word. You can flirt with anybody saying " i like you" but : " I love you" is ultimately for the special one. You can say " i like you to a good friend but it doesn't mean that you really are inti him/her. Like is more of a admiration.

cos they want to express how they feel even though they really mean it like they say but just to get the girls attention and keep her guessing,cos there is nothing like love on first sight is infactuation @first sight then it might change depending on the guy

because when you're really into someone, it's always to the extreme - if you saw a girl - "love at first sight" you would say that you "love" her

becuase the word LOVE and LIKE ARE TWO totally different words, they both have different meanings, and diffrent strengths. dont ya think? look them up in the dictonary!
