Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after it's kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after it's kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after it's kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

So then how can you believe God used evolution when his word says that things would only bring forth their OWN KIND?

You are correct. He didn't (and wouldn't) use evolution, according to His own Word.

Strong's Concordance says from the words "after his kind"
http://www.blueletterbible.org/cgi-bin/words.pl?strongs=04327
"Groups of living organisms belong in the same created "kind" if they have descended from the same ancestral gene pool. This does not preclude new species because this represents a partitioning of the original gene pool. Information is lost or conserved not gained. A new species could arise when a population is isolated and inbreeding occurs. By this definition a new species is not a new "kind" but a further partitioning of an existing "kind"."
This is a very good question, and I wish that I could read Hebrew to say exactly what it says in the Hebrew. Just because it is worded in this manner should not rule out the fact that the energy of what God is created through a process similar to evolution.

Consider, also, the many verses in the bible (Deut. 14:7 and Lev. 11:5-6 both claim that rabbits chew their cud; 2Kings 20:11 and Joshua both claim that the earth stopped moving for a whole day... err, I mean, the sun stopped revolving around us for a whole day) that are obviously not true, and maybe stop taking the bible literally. There are MANY scientific innaccuracies in that book, and it can NOT be used for science. When it is, all it does is slow down real scientific progress becaus ewe're trying to make the two work together.
It is a religious guide, not a science textbook.

they would only bring forth,,,,, after their kind, but it doesnt say what process the earth took to bring them forth,,,,,, "let the earth bring forth,,,,,,, plus its not really clear,,,, made the beast of the earth after his kind,,,, after his kind of what?? does that mean the beast came from their own kind,,, if so, where did that beast come from,,,,, or after God, would his in this part mean God? yes, things can come forth after their own kind (meaning from their own kind) and yes in the places where it said God made the creature,,,, sure that was an original, but what about the places where the earth brings forth things? it didnt bring forth another earth,, plus finally, those are English words,,, who knows what the original words written were, or how the context was translated,,,,, right in these passages there is confusion,,,,

God didn't create evolution nor did He use it. Evolution never existed. Scientists believe in it because they don't believe in creation. If they contradict creationism and refuse to believe it, then they don't believe in what God says in His Word as to how the world and everything in it came about. EVolution a stupid theory that scientists dreamed up, that people evolved from apes, etc. That's ridiculous and ludicrous! If evolution were real, how come we aren't evolving into something else, huh? How come we don't see the animals today evolving into another species? Why? Because evolution is totally not real - never existed to begin with! God created the earth, the animals, etc. by merely speaking that all be created. There is not one word in any verse above that suggests God created and/or used evolution. Again, evolution is just a ridiculous theory thought up by scientists who refuse to believe in what God said in His word about how things came about - by His divine Word! Scientists will never be able to prove evolution because it never existed in the first place!

I think most evolutionists don't realize that the missing links are still missing. Even science can not prove that a species will, can or has evolved from one species to another. What most evolutionists call evolution is really just speciation, that is a species evolving over time to adapt better to it's environment.
If in fact we did evolve from monkeys why are they still around today? Why do we find monkeys co-existing with humans. Where is the monkey-man or half man half monkey?

Some animals that were originally created have gone extinct. It doesn't mean they never existed, just that they no longer exist.
Likewise, people have people, dogs have dogs.... BUT, they are not exact replicas of their parents. Each generation changes a little. Consider that the average human is now several inches taller now than they were just a couple hundred years ago....
To clarify- I don't believe we evolved from apes. I think the animals were all created separately. I do think that HUMANS have evolved in the context of changing & adapting, but are still at the basic form of what they always were.

over and over God created the lifeform according to their kind; meaning, each lifeform was created independent of the others. the fossil record supports this.

To me, it makes as much sense to believe that God used evolution to populate the world as to believe that the only way He could think of to populate the world was to have Adam and Eve's kids all have incestuous sex with each other.
Evolution doesn't make creation any less wonderous either.

interesting,
it does seem to lack any definite time frame though.
we can not even begin to explain evolution to modern humans.
and we have 200 years of science to back us up. and the simple fact that we live in a world that has been changed by our hands should speak volumes for science.
do you really think that god would have tried to explain evolution to primitive men. and expect them to grasp the idea. you cannot even grasp the idea of it, and you have years of education and science trying to explain a rather simple concept to you. why is it so hard to believe that god may have used evolution to create man and beast. just because he tried to keep it simple in the bible for primitive men to understand it.
