I am afraid of the dark, blood (Hemophobia...I faint, go pale and sweat at the sight or just talking about it) and I am afraid of heights (achrophbia). How do i easily cure this?

It's very hard, but some doctor's will prescribe medications, and some people go to a psychologist. It just depends on the extent of your phobias.

You are not afraid of those things. You are afraid of something that's causing you to look at yourself and your past wounds, buried so deep, you think it's those stuff you mentioned that scares you.

Sorry, there are no quick easy fixes, for yourself, or even for those fears listed, although I'm thinking that some people flood themselves by actually going to a cemetery in the night, sit in the waiting room of a hospital for a day, and bungee jump.

I don't think you'd even consider taking up such tasks. When you do those things, you just might find yourself in a sicker position than you are, hiding behind words or a screen. But, if you want to get well, you have to get worse to get better. And only if you want to seriously CURE yourself.

If you take the slower route, get therapy, or join a support group.

cheers! Jesus loves you. If I 'know' you, I might love you too, as a friend, but, as it is, the screen is as flat as the emoticons that are so easily clickable.

If you saw my face, you'd find that this smile is sincere :)

I'm not laughing. These are common phobias. I have the fear of heights. Therapy can help alot if you can't avoid the object of your phobia. If you don't have a job like construction (for the fear of heights) or in the medical field (for fear of blood) then simple avoidance may be enough. If your fear of the dark is so severe you can't go to sleep without a light on then a good therapist can help you. Phobias can be overcome.

Well you cant really cure yourself...but i guess that if you would just face them(yea i know, you prob hear this all the time), you wouldnt be so afraid of them. try to get yourself used to them, look up some info on them, and it should help.. i like the dark, im not scared of blood, and heights are only sometimes, on the conditions, but im terrified of spiders..theyre just so creepy...uhm..i hope i helped..who knows, lol.

Focus on somthing else, when those are around. Even if its singing a tune out loud that sounds terrible, or get angery .

Replace one emotion with another.

Make certain the emotion is very deep.

A spark of your interest.

Forget fear, embrace love.

sleep with a night light, and slowly stop using it for being afraid of the dark
