I'm a STRAIGHT female but i just discovered that i'm going through a "boys are gross" phase. I'm 20 years old and it seems all these guys i know, get to know, or that i run into just seem gross. I'm guessin it's the whole "maturity" thing when girls realize they're waaaay mature than guys at this stage in life. It's weird because i've always been the boy crazy type ever since middle school and for the first time, I'm soo turned off by them. I prefer guys in mid 20's now with a degree, nice job, mannered, etc...The guy doesn't have to be the best looking but if he had those traits, i still find him attractive. All guys in my age range now seem soo stupid, ghetto - just gross (sorry boys) - is this normal? Have you gone through this too?

I'm going through the same thing, and meeting decent guys is just so hard. It seems like most guys my own age just aren't interesting enough.

I'm a little younger but I am totally going through the same sort of thing... I still like boys my own age, but it is the ones about 4 or 5 years older that I am seriously attracted to, i think it is normal, boys will be boys, I think we are both in a stage where we need real MEN

I'm not 20, but I've been through that. I'm guessing because most of the guys you see around are so immature that their gross to you, and that you've raised your expectations for guys, and if they meet that, then they are attractive.

man...Find someone in their late 20's, early 30's...

you dont have to worry. just be yourself, the normal self and someone will surely find you attractive. since i also prefer girls like you.

I think you are showing signs of beginning to mature.... your interests are changing, that's all. It's normal.
