Chihuahuas can shake when they are cold, nervous, or sick. They get cold so easily. Many owners put sweaters on them to keep them warm.

Often little chihuahuas are very nervous dogs. So they tremble a lot. Also, because of their size they get cold. Those are 2 reasons my little chi shakes. In rare cases, it could be to low blood sugar. You should have the little one checked just in case.

If you were the size of a rodent in a world over large people and fast moving kids you would tremble as well.

A Chihuahua's tiny body can not insulate itself against our harsh temps. Many pet stores sell a "puppy warmer" which is basically a chewable-proof hot water bottle.

I have five chihuahuas, and sometimes they tremble when they get real excited, or scared, or nervous, or just cold.

Shoot him quick... It might be contagious...
Or just wrap him up in a blanket.
