Of course you can say Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! We live in the United States and have freedom of speech. Why is it so easy to be frightened that we are being non-PC? That really makes me angry. Merry Christmas AND Happy Hanukkah to everyone, as they believe!

People just get offended. I have a muslim friend and she finds it uncomfortable for people to approach her with the usual "Merry x-mas". If you do some research in the bible... you will find the reason why they should say happy holidays! Remember, not everyone is a follower of our Jesus Christ.

why can't you say Merry Christmas? You can say whatever you want. If I wanted to say "Have a horrible Christmas" to everyo person I walked past, I could very well do that.
