Humm, I suppose after the shock wore off first I would try to figgure out what they were thinking? Then I would likely be mad as all get out. But in the end I would love them because they are my child.

Most strippers do that, because they feel like they have no other options. I would hope I raise my child to be happy and to enjoy a good honest day wage. If my child turned out to be a stripper I would feel like a failure, but I would also love and provide emotional support.
On a side note there is a strip club in western Pennsylvania called the Crazy Horse.... hot mother daughter act... guess that mom is ok with her childs occupation.

I just love how no one mentioned asking why they felt they needed to strip. Most strippers I know don't do it for the love of the job...they do it for the money. I know the first thing I would do is ask them why they feel they need the money so badly that they're willing to strip. If it was merely a matter of paycheck and being able to get that job without a good resume etc then I would pull some strings and try to get them a better job or just offer to help them out financially. For all your fussiness you have to remember that girls who strip or work at Hooters make a heck of a lot more than a girl waiting tables or working at Sears or something. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Probably Cry, but if they are over 18 there isn't much you can do about it. So I wouldn't push the issue, because at that age, it is probably out of some sort of rebellion, so fighting with them about it would probably just make them more determined to do. One exception, if they lived with me, I would tell them to pick a different profession or get out of my house. My house my rules kind of thing.

First of all, it is legal as a business, so long as she is 18 or over, and furthermore, the best ones get paid big especially in tips, so if she is in college and she is paying for her own education, you should not be complaining.

HEY I WOULDNT SAY THAT NOTHINGS WRONG WITH IT BECAUSE THEY ARE WILLINGLY PUTTING THERE LIVES IN DANGER.

There would be some serious questions I would be asking myself as a parent, and one of them would be where the hell was I? Perhaps you should ask yourself that questions. I am sure that work will be one of the many answers you give yourself. Then I would ask where the hell her father was? And then after that, I would be beating the crap out of her.
On another tip, I am just amazed at how fast our children lose their innocence when we aren't paying attention and then we blame others for our shortcomings because our kids screw up

If I had a daughter and found out she was a stripper...I'd show up at the strip club with a camera, her father, and as many family members as I could convince to come with me. Hopefully the humiliation would prevent her from showing up to work the next day.

If they're over 18 there's not really anything you can DO about it. I would probably be upset, but try to remind myself, at least they're not prosituting themselves out for money. I really don't know.....it's too early for me to think about it. Scratch that, I don't WANT to think about it.
