her birthday is comming up and shes turning 13. i want to get her an awesome purse. adivice?

Ok i go to marshalls/ t'j maxx cause they have very cute designer purses for a fraction of the price.
think of this : a purse that can hold all her make up is really all she needs so a med. size purse in a funky color (bright pink, light blue, red) or blakc if shes not girlie.

To tell the truth, it's prolly best to go with something cute from wal-mart. They are a little on the cheaper side, but she's thirteen, you don't need to take out a second mortgage to buy her *her first?* a purse. Train her to think in terms of "if it's cute, it's cool" vs. "if it's brand name and cost as much as our car, it's cool" Trust me, it'll be a lot easier on you when she really gets the hang of being a teen.

Let me just say, anyone suggesting anything over $30 is insane. Did you see the girl is 13 years old? Kids that age loose anything that isnt stapled to them!
Check a place like Limted Too. It's a store specifically for girls that age range. And if you are really bargin hunting, try something like Wal-Mart's Mary-Kate and Ashley collection. If you know that she likes to carry lots of things (cell phone, cd player/mp3 player, notebooks, whatever), more than just lip gloss, try Old Navy. They always have age-neutral bags in any style.

you should just get her a normal purse... kids these days are way too spoiled! you go to a mall and see groups of teenage girls all carrying either coach, dooney & bourke, chanel, or louis vuitton! i mean, even my mom doesn't carry those kind of purses! what is it with parents these days? they spoil their daughters way too much! you should just get her a casual purse from places like pac sun, anchor blue, or old navy... if she doesn't like shopping at those kind of places, then getting her a juicy couture purse would be nice... i hate seeing 13-year-olds walk by on the street with a coach or dooney & bourke... especially since they don't even deserve it, using their parents' money to buy expensive purses.

Get her a hollister purse from american eagle or louis vuitton purse or roxy at off the wall. Get her one thats a known trademark, because shes becomng a teen and thats when they want to fit in.

well what kinda money are you lookin to spend? kids these days are spoiled brats. my friends buy their kids Dooney and Bourkes but there is no way my teenager is carrying a $200 handbag. i have 3, but i'm 25. so i'd give you this advice: Guess makes cute handbags (at macy's) and so does Vera Bradley if you like the prints. Check out Claire's and Icing too. they have all that Hillary Duff/Jessica Simpson crap that the kids like these days.

a rocawear purse from macy's or rich's they only 45 dollars and some be 30 or 35.. Or can simply just go to walmart and buy cute cheap purse

Im going to go a little different then designer. I have seen a LOT of cute disney character especially Tinkerbell where she is looking sexy,, pouty, or just cool, they are small, and have zippered compartments inside. Try a Disney Store, or even Wal-Mart. Remember she is only 13. Tinkerbell with an attitude is cool too!

go with her hight
if shes tall she can use any type of perce
average- satchel type things
short- clutch
also go with persuality
if shes sporty get her a cute purse/backpack with her fave team logo or buttons on it
girly or preppy- u can never go wrong with small pink purses with key chains
a girl who loves black should probally get a cute snaped purse thats black or some other dark color
watch and see what kind of clothes she wears to get an idea of her style tastes/preferances and try to coordinate the purse with her clothes style
also girls love it if they recieve purces or excesories that they imeadiatly know will go with a certian outfit (at least i do)
