Hmm S.A.D. it might be but it seems like you really have some unresolved issues. Sounds like you do need to talk with someone that can give better help than Yahoo answers. talk to your counselor at school they must keep your situation private. It sounds like you do want help so that is always a good sign.
I know it is hard to admit stuff like this about yourself but be assured lots of people have faced the same situation and overcame and I am sure that you can do the same thing too.
If you feel free to email me for more help if you need it but your best bet is to talk with a professional counselor. I know you can overcome it and get back to your 'old' self. You might need to address that past stuff first just to put it behind you and move on. Just remember what is past is past and you can only deal with the present and plan for the future.
I wish you the best

Talk to a doctor about your feelings and occurrences. Hopefully a support group or counseling can help but if it takes medication then please take it. You have so much life to live and so much to give and do in this world. Have confidence in yourself, love yourself, tell yourself that no matter how bad things have been, they are not going to take you down. You were put here for a reason so, take control of YOU and don't let anything ever make you feel that you are worthless and not needed. Quitters never become winners. Figure out what the one thing is, that you want more than anything else to make a difference in this world, or a special place you'd like to go or whatever your goal or dream has been and put all the effort you have to do it. How do you know if you don't try?

Have you talked to your parents about this? It sounds like depression which is a very treatable illness. You said that you think you may have Seasonal Affective Disorder. Do your symptoms typically come on in the late fall or early winter? If so winter depressions can respond dramatically by simply spending more time outside during the daytime. Don't ever be embarrassed to express your feelings and ask for help. Don't suffer with this alone.

First off don't worry you will get through this! Everyone in the world goes through problems and once this over you will be a much stronger person. I would defiently talk to your parents are someone that you are close with. Nothing is wrong with you mentally you are just going through changes, everybody goes through them. If you do feel like something might be wrong then I would defiently see a counselor or maybe a psychologist. Try to find some kind of outlet like sports are something that will take your mind off the problem because it can be real easy to dwell on your problems. You will be find and just remember every has to go through hard times because how would we grow as people if we were never challenged? I wish you the best

You need to see a doctor and get assessed. My first thought is that you have become depressed but there are other possibilities. A psychologist would also be a good person to be able to tell you what is wrong.
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I have been depressed and know how it feels. I hope that with some counseling and some medication that you will be feeling much better in a little while.

Have you lost the enjoyment in doing social things? I've been going through this too if so. It took a total breakdown for things to change. Depression is natural, but not when it's a downward spiral to the bottom. A lot of people get to that point in their lives but it's because they never learn the proper ways to cope with their problems. Our bodies aren't meant for deep depression, that's why it makes us physically hurt (in the stomach and head especially).
No matter how low you get, don't consider suicide an option. Everything is temporary except the end of your life.
Also, drugs haven't helped me either. I don't know if you mean the medication you take normally or aren't prescribed to you or street drugs, but it's all drug abuse and it hardly ever if not never helps.
You sound very mature and polished for a 15 yr old despite any problems with depression you're battling. Good luck getting back to your social self to share yourself with others, I hope it doesn't take a breakdown like it did with me.

Teenagers often go through mood swings, especially teenage girls due to changes in your hormones. If you have changed in your behavior like this you should talk to a trained professional who can help you understand why all of a sudden you would rather be alone than with others (like you used to).The fact that you have harmed yourself and have feelings of death and dieing suggest you are probably depressed. Depression is an illness which is due to changes in the chemicals in your brain. It is a result of the way you feel and the self-talk that you have. and the perspective you have for whatever reason assumed towards your life and others and yourself.Depression is most often caused by the influence of more than just one or two factors.depression may be directly related to a significant event in our lives . Your self esteem has taken a hit by you losing your friends and the fact that you feel disconnected to your boyfriend.
You should first go to your family doctor and ask him or her to give you tests as the reason for your behavior could be due to some physical cause. You should be honest with your family doctor and tell her or him exactly how you feel and exactly what you have been thinking of late, and then your doctor might give you some medication or send you to a psychologist or psychiatrist to help you. There is no shame in asking for help from a doctor, these people go to school for years in order to help people like yourself.I am many thousands of others have sought the help of a professional. You would be helping yourself most of all by talking to someone with training. Sometimes it takes talking to someone else, especially someone trained to understand human behavior, before you will feel and act like yourself, because they will have empathy for you,and will have and understanding of what physical, emotional and psychological factors could cause you to feel and act the way you do. I hope you will seek out help and I hope you will feel better soon.

Dont feel ashamed of what your feeling. Your erxperiencing depression no doubt. I myself suffer alot of mental problems. I have self mutilated since age 11 and now im 27. Although I know its not normal, its self healing for me at times. I think you should see a Dr. To me it sounds like depression and DID. which is a new term for Multiple personality disorder. You should look it up and see if your symptoms compare to the ones for MPD. Good luck.

My daughter went through the same thing at about the same time in her life. She was suffering from depression which is very common and very treatable. You must talk to someone about it though that can help. I'm sure those that love you want to help you get better although it is probably hard for you to see right now. Main thing is to tell someone, and if they don't help, tell someone else, until you get the help you need.! Good luck!

Is all part of growing up, but don't despair, can you talk to your parents??, it always helps if you tell people how you feel, then make an effort to go out, do not stay home watching TV or on the computer. Please talk to your parents, and remember your life is important, and if you are religious ask God to give you positive feelings and just wait, be patient, you will be much better. I understand how you feel.
