my dad has dyspepsia the thing that helped him is to elevate the head of his bed. He put a few thick books under the legs, you want the head end up a few inches. It helps the bile and stuff stay down. Also you need to have a good diet. No greasy foods, tomatoes are bad, use olive oil rather then hydrogenated oils. This helped my dad alot, and bonus he is in better shape. There is pills you can get from your doc, not sure of the name off hand, but my dad had them. Probably you must visit your Doctor because you have symptoms of esophageal hiatus hernia but till there take 1 tablet a day when you go tobed of Lansoprazol 20mg

try gastrogel or any antacid first, proton pump inhibitor next. see a specialist if an endoscopy is needed.
