It really depends on if the guy has contact with the girl or not. If he just sees her occasionally, it doesn't last long, but if he talks to her a bit, like a hi here and there, it last a bit longer. If it is somebody he talks to every day, he may not get over a crush until something forces him to stop talking to her.

I think it depends on lot of things...
how long can you keep yourself interesting to the other guy...
I think most guys lose interest after a few months..

As long as it takes to either a) have sex with her, or b) think that having sex with a different girl would be better, or c) have sex with another girl.
