Wow, what a beautiful song! It makes me cry. It truly touches my heart , as a mother it is an awesome gift to carry a child, Mary had an awesome burden and to know through her our saviour was born, very humbling song... very touching.

What a gift the writer of this song portrayed through lyrics and song. Amy Grant portrayed feeling in the words and it just hits your heart to the very core.

This is so funny. I have been learning to play this song on the keyboard lately, I am playing it at church for the candlelight service. I had never heard it before a few weeks ago.

I think it's a really nice song. That's about it. I'm not really much into Mary because I'm not Catholic. But this girl I sing with wanted to do it, and our keyboard player had to work (I'm more of a rock guitarist myself).

Honestly, when I really started listening to it, it reminded me A LOT of Joni Mitchell. It sounds just like something she would do, especially toward the front end of the song. Something AG is doing with the vocal, and the really heavy, eerie kind of minor key piano work. But anyhow. I know probably no one else on the planet made that connection.

I have never heard this song, but I would love to find it and record it. As soon as I'm done here that's just what I'm going to do. I have never looked songs up on my PC before, so I hope I wont have a problem doing so.
