Manic Panic makes a semi-permanent dye called Virgin Snow, that you can use after you bleach your hair. You should be able to find that in a Sally Beauty store, Hot Topic, or online.

You shouldn't try to make your hair white - it will all break off. The best thing is to go for a platinum color. You have to tone your hair with a violet-based color (like a level 10V) to take out the gold color in your hair. I don't recomment too much bleach because it damages the hair too badly, especially if your hair color is naturally dark to begin with.

You can bleach it and then tone it with a purple based toner... it will neutralize the yellow. Or you could use a single-process color that will lighten and tone all in one step.
