+ There are many organizations like the DAV, American Legion and VFW etc. that would be willing to hear from you and most give very generous scholarships. I am attaching a link to the Military community scholarship list. You can probably qualify for at least some of them.

The simple answer is no, but be aware there are thousands of dollars of grants & scholarships that go untaken every year because nobody took the trouble to apply for them, or just assumed they would not be eligible.

Do agoogle search, there are hundreds of grants/scholarships out there........Good Luck!!

It is doubtful that you can just from being his grandchild. But I would check with the local American Legion and VFW posts to see if they have some scholarships available for winners of essay contests.

you can get money if you are a vet, but not if your grandfather served.

n ope it would of had to be your dad- i know cause my dad is in themilitary.
