According to "The Almanac Book of Facts", the population increased 137% within the past decade, Christianity increased 46%, while Islam increased 235%.

In a recent poll in the (US), 100,000 people per year in America alone, are converting to Islam. For every 1 male convert to Islam, 4 females convert to Islam

The question still remains, why are more women converting than men to Islam ?
Perhaps they realize their Soul is worth the Factual Research.

1. The Bible Convicts Women as the original
Sinners, (ie. Eve picking from the forbidden
tree){Genesis 2:4-3:24}. The Koran Clarifies it
was Adam Not Eve {Qur'an 7:19-25}

2. The Bible says "The Birth of a Daughter is a
loss" {Ecclesiasticus 22:3}. The Qur'an says both
are an Equal Blessing { Qur'an 42:49}

3. The Bible Forbids Women from Speaking in
church {I Corinthians 14:34-35}. The Qur'an says
Women Can argue with the Prophet {58:1}

4. In the Bible, divorced Women are Labeled as
an Adulteress, while men are not {Matthew 5:31-32}. The
Koran does Not have Biblical double standards
{ Qur'an 30:21}

5. In The Bible, Widows and Sisters do Not
Inherit Any Property or Wealth, Only men
do{Numbers 27:1-11}The Koran Abolished this
male greediness { Qur'an 4:22} and God Protects
All.

6. The Bible Allows Multiple Wives{I Kings 11:3}
In The Koran, God limits the number to 4 only
under certain situations (with the Wife's
permission)and Prefers you Marry Only One
Wife{ Qur'an 4:3} The Koran gives the Woman
the Right to Choose who to Marry.

7. "If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not
pledged to be married and rapes her and they are
discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty
shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he
has violated her. He can never divorce her as long
as he lives" {Deuteronomy 22:28-30}

One must ask a simple question here, who is
really punished, the man who raped the woman or
the woman who was raped? According to the
Bible, you have to spend the Rest of Your Life
with the man who Raped You.

The Prophet Muhammad Says {Volume 9, Book
86, Number 101} Narrated by Aisha:" It is
essential to have the consent of a virgin (for the
marriage)".

Would the Christian men Reading this prefer the
Women they know to Be Christian or Muslim?

8. The Bible also asks Women to wear veils as in
Islam {I Corinthians 11:3-10}, this lowers the
chance of rape, (God Forbid), see statistic link
below.

9. Women were given rights to Vote less than a
100 years ago in the (US), while the Quran (42:38) gave
Women Voting rights almost 1,500 years ago.

10. Islam has unconfined Women and has given them
the human right to reach for the sky. There have been
Muslim Women Presidents through out the centuries,
but to this date, the oppressive mentality of the
men in the Western U.S.A. has stopped any Women from becoming
Presidents in predominately Christian countries,
while the Muslim countries have voted for and
elected Female Presidents.

Here is a list of previous Female Muslim leaders:

Khadija bint Khuwaylid
Aishah bint Abu Bakr
Fatimah bint Muhammad
Barakah
Ramlah bint Abu Sufyan
Rumaysa bint Milhan
Umm Salamah
Asma bint Abu Bakr
Zaynab al-Ghazali

If you join the religion I just invented, Woltism, it will be the fastest-growing religion in America having doubled in size in just the time it took you to join me. In any event Sikhism and Buddhism are both growing faster than Islam in America. Worldwide, Islam get less than a million converts each year, Christianity gets two million. Of course, it's not clear how you measure how fast a religion is growing. Is it the absolute number of people? Is it the percentage growth? Do you count people born into that religion or do you mean converts? How do you count people who move from one country to another? Update: Do you really not understand why your references aren't convincing? Your references are just to people repeating your claim. A useful reference would present *evidence* to support your claim. None of those quotes, for example, say whether by "growing" you mean in percentage terms or absolute terms. It just looks like a lot of people repeating them same myth. How about quoting someone who said "Islam is the fastest growing religion because it is growing rate rate X, and Y, the second-fastest religion is only growing at rate Z". *That* would be a reference that might convince someone. (Of course, no such reference exists because the claim is false.)

It isn't. The media just paints the picture that way.

I had to revisit this and make an edit. Using statistics is a funny game. If you look at the true numbers Islam is still an extremely small minority compared to Christianity in the US. If one looks at the 100 million people in the US still the majority have Christian beliefs. And if I remember correctly about 25% or 40% actively attend church on a regular basis. Conservatively there are about 65 million Christian believers in the US as compared to the 4 million you speak of believing in Islam. Just looking at the number of 4 million it is statistically impossible for Islam to increase by 400%... ever. That would mean if the growth continued over the next period they used to measure the last statistical growth percentage, there will be 20 million believers in Islam. And of course it will appear that Christianity is growing slower when there is such a great difference in the amount between the two religions. Even minimally there are 15 times the amount of Christians and Jews in the US. Of course they will appear to be growing at a slower rate if you look only at the percentage of growth of differntly size sampled groups.

One also needs to consider when and where the surveys were taken to obtain these numbers. Statistics can be manipulated to show almost any result you have a purpose for.

If you want to make your religion look acceptable to non-believers you need to show them the "goodness" or the "truth"in the teachings of Islam. Most people are not so ignorant to join something just because it is made to look so popular.

Of coarse the only time that CNN speaks the truth is when it agrees with something positive about islam.

Anything negative about islam is always a lie or conspiracy or misunderstanding about the religion.

Here are some other other interpretations of recent growths in various ideological groups.

Humans have a subverted need for submission. Women particularly, secretly enjoy the masochistic grovelling at the command of another.The more ghastly the form of the autocratic religion, the more attractive.
However, your information is out of date: the fastest growing religion is the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Perhaps humans are breaking free and coming to their senses.

The women are being used to famr more martyrs. And any freak with a beef with the US incapable of intelligend discoarse, joins to take a swing at wearing a bomb. Also massive conversions taking place in US prisons are contributing. What does that tell you about the Islamic system?

Lol it's funny when someone askes this question, and Islaam hates, start asking where you got this from? I thought it was christianity? And what not....

Well the questioner is right people.... It's all true

1 in every 4 in America is Muslim, and this was back in the 2000 when they said this, and soon its going to be 1 in 3.

The reason why Islaam is the fastest growing religion in the USA and the world, is becuase it's the truth. You have read about Islaam, and the truth and wisdom behind it. Not from the media, or anything.

proof? where is it?

everyone claims to be part of the FASTEST GROEING RELIGION. from Wiccans to Athiest, to all of the Abrihamic religions.

why does this matter. is religion some kind of battle about who can get more members?

do you think that the gods in their infinite power really give a damn about how many of us follow which one. NO only we seem to care. it is petty and sad that people have this great source of peace and enlightenment right infront of them, and all thay can seem to do with it is turn it into a weapon against the "other guys"

wake up people. have some common sense and quit falling for the political motivations of organised religion.
