yea over time ur hair will get really damaged from all the straightening. try a new hairstyle that wont damage ur hair so much. it really dries it out and ur hair will eventually feel all straw like.

Yes if you straighten your hair, each time you do it, you burn and fry the hair folicles which cause split ends, frizz, dead looking hair. I highly recommend this product called "Sleek". It is a iron smoother, thermo protectant, and is made by Matrix. I bought it for $13.95 and I straighten my hair almost every day.

You do not need alot of it and actually need only 4 spritz( front, back, sides) of your head. It primes, conditions, smoothes, and locks straightness and is a pro smoothing system.

It has formulas that balance moisture to lock out the frizz and helps to keep out frizz, curls, and dry hair.

This is a great product and I have really curly hair and all have had no problems. If used correctly, you will not have any curls, and you will look good into the night.

Your hair will not fall out dramatically if you keep straightening without products. Everyone sheds hair and ask any professional stylist. The color of hair does not mean much but you wont go bald. I been straightening for years since I was 10 now I am 17 and have hair thats so pretty.

It seems as if you have gotten answers arguing for either alternative, everyone is right to some extent. Straightening your hair is not necessarily damaging, it all depends on how often you do it and on the condition of your hair overall. When you straighten your hair you are stripping it of moisture, you also heat it to a crisp, it is possible for you to burn it. You might have noticed a smell if you did. In order to care for your hair make sure that you are using a shampoo and conditioner best suited for your hair type. Also remember that if your hair is processed (dyed/bleached/permed) it is more likely to become damaged, as it already is. My advice to you would be to talk to your stylist and alternate hairstyles, give your hair time off from the ceramic straightner. I have a friend who had a beautiful head of hair, until she started to straighten it, after a while it became dull and brittle. Don't let your head resemble hay.

Most definately. There are so many girls at my school that don't take it into consideration at all... a lot of them don't even think their hair is damaged. But it's so obvious.... though even when it isn't, you're still greatly damaging your hair. You're only supposed to use any type of hot tool on hair 2 times a week TOPS. And when you DO straighten, you should always use a heat-protecting spray or product. But still, only 2 times a week. Other days, try leaving it curly or exactly how it is naturally. Lots of guys prefer a girls natural wave... add a little product. It'll save you time and you'll be able to keep your hair in the long run.

Good Luck... people never look nearly as bad as they think they do without straighting their hair.

it gets a splash broken, yet no longer fall out, and the wear and tear won't ever be severe whilst you're taking particular precautions- constantly spray your hair with a flat-iron holding product till now you straighten it. do no longer straighten it every day! regardless of in case you basically take a pair days off, that still reduces the wear and tear. And get a injury scientific care shampoo. desire I helped! :)

i use to do that to my hair all the time and using a chemical will break your ends and dry it out and thin it as you get older you can try that brush that straightens and steams a conditioner into hair but curls are in too. so why even bother if you want to go straight where a piece.....

As long as you keep deep conditioning your hair you should be fine as a stylist though We only leave them on the hair untill a count of 5.

unless you have dry brittle hair it should be alright....buy some moisturizing shampoo and conditioner though...just for extra help. I have naturally curly highlighted hair and i use a blow dryer and a straightening iron on my hair daily....I use Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged hair...it works good, smells great...i also bought the extra tub of super conditioner that goes with it...my hair is very soft silky and in great condition

No it won't , it isn't nessecarily good for your hair, but if you get something that you put in while your hair is till damp from your shower like a gel or cream that should protect your hair, you can get things like that in your local hair salon.
