i am not satisfied. It seems like it is the same crap at every store. I like variety. Everything is also getting uglier in my opinion

I don't know where you live, but here in CA, we have had most of the better stores close or getting eaten up by other stores. We once had Bullocks, I. Magnin, Joseph Magnin, The Broadway, Robinson's, May Co. Robinson's merged with May Co./Robinson's-May, and then Broadway became Macy's, now Robinson's-May is gone because it was bought out by Macy's! I think that we're actually left with fewer good choices than before and therefore, people become less original and diverse with their styles. One of my daughter's and I buy vintage clothing alot because clothing was made so well, the fabric and the stitching. I've also recently started sewing again, so you do what you've gotta do!

Were there more stores before? I'm happy enough. Plus online shopping makes things nice. More to choose from and sometimes better deals.

I used to go to an elegant soap and perfume shop, a "head" shop, a kite shop, a poster shop, a French delicateson, an old fashioned pharmacy with a lunch counter, all in the same neighborhood. They are now replaced by T-shirt shops.

I have two malls of stores to choose from to shop at...maybe where YOU live you don't have much but that is where YOU live.

They were run out of business by the Internet and Walmart. You can get anything on the Internet which is way better than driving around hunting for what you need.
