being the old hippie that i am, i can say that if you smoke weed that does not have additives like strictnine in it, it's far better for you than is drinking alcohol. i can't smoke the stuff anymore having developed an allergy to it a long time ago, but i can state both by my use in the past as well as watching so many people that i know smoke it that it has NO bad side effects. no, it will not make you depressed (unless you doze off, which is not depression). no, you will not get addicted to pot. no, it will not "make" you take stronger or more harmful narcotics. just because SOME people that take meth, coke, crack, heroin, etc. started out smoking MJ doesn't mean that everyone that smokes weed goes up to stronger drugs. i strongly doubt you would become paranoid. you might, just might, if it's really clean, good stuff, look over your shoulder a couple of times, but that is not paranoia.

gee, a bad effect might be that you gain a pound or two due to getting the "munchies" that some pot smokers get. sometimes they want to eat junk food, cookies, ice cream, or especially brownies, of all things.

else, if you do not take your birth control, you may get pregnant because a lot of people enjoy making love when stoned on weed.

personally, having seen drunk drivers' accidents and the trauma they cause, as well as having seen that pot smokers do not lose control of their cars when stoned, at all, i am for the legitimization of pot.

Some immediate physical effects of marijuana include a faster heartbeat and pulse rate, bloodshot eyes, and a dry mouth and throat. No scientific evidence indicates that marijuana improves hearing, eyesight, and skin sensitivity. Studies of marijuana's mental effects show that the drug can impair or reduce short-term memory, alter sense of time, and reduce ability to do things which require concentration, swift reactions, and coordination, such as driving a car or operating machinery.

Are there any other adverse reactions to marijuana?
A common bad reaction to marijuana is the "acute panic anxiety reaction." People describe this reaction as an extreme fear of "losing control," which causes panic. The symptoms usually disappear in a few hours.

THC affects the nerve cells in the part of the brain where memories are formed. This makes it hard for the user to recall recent events (such as what happened a few minutes ago). It is hard to learn while high - a working short-term memory is required for learning and performing tasks that call for more than one or two steps.

Among a group of long-time heavy marijuana users in Costa Rica, researchers found that the people had great trouble when asked to recall a short list of words (a standard test of memory). People in that study group also found it very hard to focus their attention on the tests given to them.

Smoking marijuana causes some changes in the brain that are like those caused by cocaine, heroin, and alcohol. Some researchers believe that these changes may put a person more at risk of becoming addicted to other drugs, such as cocaine or heroin.

It may be that marijuana kills brain cells. In laboratory research, scientists found that high doses of THC given to young rats caused a loss of brain cells such as that seen with aging. At 11 or 12 months of age (about half their normal life span), the rats' brains looked like those of animals in old age. It is not known whether a similar effect occurs in humans.

this is a good question, I smoke weed myself but it is dumb to think there is no bad effects. The first argument is the loss of short term memory. This is debatable; I'd have to say the loss of ambition is the biggest problem not to mention the trouble with the law.

Wait, what was the question? No, serisouly, it makes you content. This is why we smoke it. When you're content, you fall behind in every aspect of your life. It coats your lungs in a tar that's incredibly thick. Just look at the inside of a bong. It also can easily cause lung cancer. It is addictive & it can motivate you, subconsciously, to shape your life around it. I still believe it's less dangerous than alcohol and I'd like to see it legalized, but your question is about the bad effects.

those are the indications of smoking an extremely reliable indica or indica dominant....and its thoroughly time-honored, particularly if she has in basic terms started smoking and isn't any longer used to the distinctive distinctive outcomes. Marijuana isn't all of the comparable, some pot makes you sleepy, different pot makes you great hyper and goofy, and different pot would provide you extreme physique highs...its somewhat all approximately decision....
