I used to be a Christian, who turned to a Muslim, who denounced Jesus and called him Lucifer, and now I'm just a nobody...lost. Seems the more I want to get closer to God, the more I get further. Don't tell me to accept Jesus...just pray to God.

I'm not saying Muslims.........I'm saying that I went from being Christian to Muslim to nothing. I'm not Christian, I'm not Muslim, I'm nothing...I'm just lost and I call Jesus a deceiver. I'm just a lost soul who will go to hell in the eyes of Christians and Muslims.

I love God and I always will. I won't put my trust in Jesus and I won't fear him. I won't fear Jesus because he said if you don't accept him you'll go to hell. I only fear God...but right now religion is taking me away from God. Religion is the deceiver and so is Jesus.
I don't even know Islam, I said I was Muslim but that's because the Imam said I have to say some things in Arabic to get Islam things in the mail and I did. And then he said I'm Muslim...I just wanted to learn about it, not become it.......................

You don't even read it right.....I didn't say Islam says Jesus is Lucifer. I said I do. I said I went from being Christian, to Muslim, THEN to nothing cause I call Jesus a deceiver. I can't be Muslim if I call Jesus a deceiver...so I'm not Muslim anymore.

You don't want to listen to truth, but you want God to help you.
I will pray for you, but you must understand that God is not willing to accept whatever you are willing to give.
You say you were a Christian. A true Christian - one who has a relationship with the living Jesus Christ, will not turn away.
I urge you to return to that. If you got nothing from the church you were in, try another.
Your soul deserves your attention to this.

You cannot accept the father without his son.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
you need to accept Jesus if u want to become closer to God. find a spiritual guide to help you or even talk to someone about your problems. Jesus doesnt condemn you for rejecting him and doesnt think u are a nobody. that is satan talking trying to bring you further from God. fight him and pray for understanding of God's words and love. i will pray for you. god bless u

I am confident that if your intentions are sincere in your soul search, you will find your place in God's hands. Be patient, this search took years for me.
And about calling Jesus lucifer, that is soooo not how Islam see Jesus! He is mentioned in the highest regards and is on the top of the list of prophets. Because his birth was miraculous, and that he will return someday, he is way up in heaven next to God, not as a god or God's son, but as a great prophet according to the Noble Qu'ran.
Also, I felt the same as you before, about feeling that the more I wanted to get close to God, the farther away I seemed to be. Patience, sincere intentions, and prayer for the truth to be revealed to me was what brought me to peace with God.
Lastly, don't rely on one person or group or website. Don't give up your search for the truth.
I will and do pray that you would be guided to the straight path to peace.

That we can, but will Carol. If you truely were a Christian at one time there is nothing you can say or do, that will take away that Salvation from you. Look at Peter! He denied Jesus three times, and notice what Jesus said after his resurrection concerning Peter.
In Mark 16:7; But go your way, tell his disciples and "Peter" that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
Jesus knew how sadden Peter was because of what he had done. But, here Jesus includes Peter as one of his disciples.
"go your way, tell his disciples and Peter."
My Prayers are with You.

Of course i'll pray for you. Your not a nobody. Even though it seems like your no one God does have a plan for you. Just because you've done wrong in the past doesnt mean God doesnt forgive you. I done many things that I'm ashamed of. You'll be in my prayer
Love,

We cannot pray into empty air.
There is nothing wrong if you try to get back to the One True God through Christ, Muhammad, Buddha...You need to read the Holy Books to get a precise knowledge about this matter.
Please turn to the One True God and pray for His guiding you to true knowledge. And I am joining you in prayer now.
I used to pray for guidance with a short prayer as follows:
O God, guide me, protect me, make of me a shining lamp and a brilliant star. Thou art the Mighty and the Powerful.
- 'Abdu'l-Bahá (Compilations, Baha'i Prayers, p. 36)-

Satan always takes us further than we wanted to go,and keeps us longer than we wanted to stay.I will pray but everything comes down to you doing what you already know to do.That is the answer to all those praying for you right now.I pray in the name of Jesus that His Holy Spirit will restore and show mercy to our sister.Amen !

That just means you're following your heart. You don't need any prayers. I believe you're closer and more receptive to the divine if you don't attend organised religion, but instead just walk your own path. You're never a nobody. It might be tougher spiritually to listen to the divine without guidance, but it's better in the long run.
