gets the crap beat out of him by the god who controls the other dimension of reality for abusing his power?

I'm sorry, maybe I'm confused but isn't god the one who flooded the earth, killed all the 1st born babies in Egypt, impregnated a 14 year old girl, sent his son to be tortured...ETC ETC ETC....???

I don't think the bible says 'satan' did that.

Great question. II Corinthians 4:4 tells us of the "god" (little "g") of this world, that has blinded the minds of those who don't believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is referring to satan, stating that he is the current "god" of this world.

And the Bible tells us that he (satan) knows his time is short (Revelation 12:12). That is to say, as Romans 16:20 puts it, that "the God of peace will soon crush satan under your (our) feet."

Jesus Christ will return and vanquish all of His enemies: "Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and those also which pierced Him: and all the people of the earth shall wail because of Him (Revelation 1:7)."

Then of course, satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire: "and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever."

So you see, it really doesn't make much sense to follow satan, or the course of this world, which is ordered the way he wants it to be right now. Because it is coming to an end soon...

The God of this Earth is Satan. He is going to get thrown into Hell when Jesus returns in Power (2nd coming) with the Judgment to follow.
