Can you be good friends with someone you don't like and enjoy your time with them? No one scrapes into heaven - you either go running in with open arms ready to hug God or not at all. Yes it is very simple.

It sounds like you have your wires crossed a little bit, or something. I am not sure if you mean that you are a Christian, and you wish that you were not, or what. I do not believe that a person can actually become a Christian, by believing upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and be washed in his blood, and then wish that they were not. For the Bible tells us in 2 Cor. 5:17, that if any person be in Christ, that they are a new creature; and that old things are passed away, and all things become new. This means that God gives us new desires to do the right things, and we no longer have the evil thoughts that we once had. I do not believe that anyone who ever experiences this, will ever have a desire to return to the old, sinful lifestyle. And if you mean that you just believe that Christianity exists, but you do not want anything to do with it, then you are in pitiful shape. If this is the case, it may be that God is trying to show you that you need to accept Jesus as your personal Savior. I believe that you need to pray to God to forgive you for ever having a desire to turn away from Christianity. You most certainly will not go to Heaven without it. Jesus told us in John 14:6: "I am the way (to Heaven), the truth, and the life. No one cometh unto the Father, but by me." This means that no one will ever get into Heaven, except through Him.

Is it that you don't believe in the ones teaching your Christianity or that you don't believe in the Bible.

Separate the two as there tends to be a big gap in those truly teaching what the Bible says and those lining their pockets with your money when they stick that plate in your face 2 or 3 times a week (sometimes in one day)

Those who go to heaven is a story in itself, so lets try and figure out why you don't want to believe in True Christianity.

Oh, can you tell the difference?? Notice this parable:

"Another illustration he set before them, saying: “The kingdom of the heavens has become like a man that sowed fine seed in his field. 25 While men were sleeping, his enemy came and oversowed weeds in among the wheat, and left. 26 When the blade sprouted and produced fruit, then the weeds appeared also. 27 So the slaves of the householder came up and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow fine seed in your field? How, then, does it come to have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy, a man, did this.’ They said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go out and collect them?’ 29 He said, ‘No; that by no chance, while collecting the weeds, YOU uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the harvest season I will tell the reapers, First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up, then go to gathering the wheat into my storehouse.’”
-Matthew 13:24-30

Then a bit after that:

"Then after dismissing the crowds he went into the house. And his disciples came to him and said: “Explain to us the illustration of the weeds in the field.” -Matthew 13:36

Will you be inquisitive as the disciples?

If you mean...I believe but am afraid to...that might be better way to ask the question. That is how it is coming across to me anyhow...

You must decide who you are more afraid of...those that can take your life, or the one who holds your soul...???

But, ultimately, fear is not the whole of the matter. God wants nothing less than your full, committed love...loving Him with all your heart, mind and soul. If you do so...you will not be concerned with believing in Christianity or not, because you will be focused on what God is asking of you, which is all of you.

Well, there are apparently some out there that do. I base this on a question I have seen asked around here several times: "You must accept Jesus as your Savior. If you don't, and I'm right, then you will go to hell. If I'm wrong, then nothing happens. So why not go ahead and accept him?" I would think the only one who answers with "OK, I will" must fall into this category.

Believing in Christianity is one thing. Asking God to forgive you of your sins and asking Jesus into your heart is a different thing. The first will not get you into heaven. The second will. The bible says the devil believes and trembles

What is the address of heaven? There is no such place, you dipwad. Heaven is a state of mind and a state of being. You can be in heaven right in your own room or on the bus, if you're smart enough to realize it. And last, but most important, it has nothing to do with J. Christ.

Satan believes in Christianity and he is not going to Heaven. How can you say you love God but don't want to. That is truly strange.

What is it about Christianity that you believe? Is it that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? Then yes. If it is anything else, then no. The answer is so simple that most people miss it. It will be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for man to enter Heaven, so says the bible

What is it that you 'don't want to believe'? I think God knows your intentions and actions, but only He knows what your place in the hereafter will be.

Have you ever done some soul searching? This could take years, but again, if your intentions are sincere, you will find out the truth.
